Fisheries industrial and marine vessel technicians are hoped to be expert in technology in the competition with other countries. But at this time, there are so many fishers and aqua culturer which must be developed in their science, skills, social and economy.
Fisheris High school (SUPM) Negeri Tegal is a middle institution in fisheries sector which is managed by Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. This school is an oldest fisheries educational institution in Indonesia, which is built in 1950 as Sekolah Perikanan Laut (SPL).
The graduates who is professional certified works as marine vessel officers, marine vessel engineer, aqua culturer and other technicians in Indonesia or in other countries. There are many graduates works an councelors in fisheries sector.
At this time, with its limitations, SUPM Negeri Tegal works hard to improve teachers qualities and educational facilities to conform with international standart, accordingly technology and fisheries development necessity.
We hope, with Internet technology, SUPM Negeri Tegal can improve its employment, because communicatively access fisheries professionalism foreword, access science and technology developments and also appreciate seaboard people necessity. And also it must allocate informations for student aspirants and graduate-user prospects.
